Resources 2018-06-21T06:28:57+00:00

Resources that I designate a “buy” are, in my opinion, worth having as a resource for a long time and are better than the average resource. Are they perfect? No! Do I endorse everything the author has written? Probably not! You should be just as diligent as you read these resources to make sure what the author writes is actually Biblical truth. That being said, I think after acquiring and reading resources in this category you will consider your money and time well spent. Keep in mind, some of the resources designated a “buy” will no longer be in print and need to be purchased used.

Many resources covering biblical topics have some good stuff and some bad stuff. In search of biblical truth, it is important not to “throw the baby out with the bath water,” but that doesn’t mean we should pay full price for the bath water, right? Books in this category should have more good material than bad and be worth while to have on hand.

Nothing is more irritating than those who capitalize on other’s pain and suffering, especially when they do so by purposefully misrepresenting what the Bible actually teaches. If a resource is placed in this category, I believe it has little redeeming value and should be read with extreme caution. Does it mean there is no truth contained in it? Not necessarily, but it does mean that the majority of its contents are not true and the remainder of its contents can be found in other places. Save your money and don’t even bother!
